Executive coaching

I started my full-time coaching practice in 2019 after twenty years in business leadership.

My style is to coach for complexity rather than certainty. It legitimizes ambiguity whilst we’re in a process of discovery, holding creative tension between ambition and current reality. Strength-based mapping, future-back visioning, and “bullet-then-cannonball” prototyping convert reflection, dialogue and insight into pragmatic next steps

Our growth is rarely only technical. Often, our challenges unfold in emotional terrain—grief after transition, the loss of identity, the uncertainty that can follow success or career change, or the unseen stress and exhaustion that comes with leading in complex systems.

Sometimes, they’re questions of identity and self-understanding. The stories we carry shape what we believe is possible and the choices we make.

My work with leaders holds both: the demands of strategic and organisational complexity, and the weight of leadership and life. It offers a place to think rigorously, feel honestly, and reorient meaningfully.

My approach is not therapeutic. But it is spacious enough to hold what matters: ambition, doubt, grief, joy, longing, history and its echoes.

My clients are founder-CEOs, senior executives in the private and public sectors, and high-performance individuals transitioning from subject matter expert roles into departmental or divisional leadership.

They are all curious, ambitious people committed to excellence and lifelong learning. They want to have significant impact, whilst living joyful lives, and building a humane world.

Achievement, excellence, compassion and connection are all important to them.
